It would be wierder to have it outside in November.

Prior to seeing them Slam Dunk, the addition of FFAF to this would have possibly encouraged me to go, but their performance was so underwhelming without Ryan. I still think the line-up needs to improve for me to part with my cash.

over 6000 tix so far... not sure the total amount of tickets available, but there is still 5 months to go i guess. Plus there is another "decent size" band to be announced over the next couple of weeks.

Would be the end of the warped tour completely since the booker is Kevin Lyman, the exact same dude who does and has always booked the US warped tour. How dare he not have the same taste as you.... how... dare..he

I might be wrong... i could be... but im not. Kili had this organised and agreed long before they had to cancel Soni UK... luckily for them, they made a shit ton on the Euorpean Sonis... which all performed very well. just sayin like

I don't suppose it's that he feels put out by the main promoter having a different 'taste', it's that a guy who has booked seminal and legendary bands for this same tour in the past now books bands like these ones who are doing this. I mean I'm not going and had no intention to but I can understand and clearly see the difference. I think it just needs to be to the point where people accept it's not gonna be Bad Religion, NOFX, Less Than Jake and Blink anymore and just ignore it or get into it. I'll be going with ignore. /pissed up rant

It's difficult to accept the sun's pretty much set on that era of punk though. I don't much get the new stuff. If there's a spirit or an ethos to punk, whatever that might be, I don't hear it in it. Same chords with all the soul sucked out of them. We're in the New Labour years of punk: it's inherited the name and historical continuity, but it's essentially a slightly left-of-centre product catered towards a middle class audience.

The addition of It Boys says it all about this toilet of a lineup.

true, but the main stage "sound" at SD was poor.

Funeral weren't good, but I'm not sure the sound on the stage can be blamed. Of the bands I saw Say Anything sounded good and so did MCS. Taking Back Sunday were awful, but again, I don't think the sound can be blamed haha

Have any Hopeless Records bands been announced yet? I remember something earlier in the thread about a tweet saying 'Does anyone want to see any Hopeless bands at Warped Tour UK?' or something to that effect. I'm guessing The Used would be one of them, and they're a big band, so might make some sense.

Glad of the numerous band tours around this date meaning i dont need to attend at all. lostprophets, 3oh!3, bowling for soup, nfg/ltg all playing wales/bristol and with not long seen Architects and Funeral im set for it really.. Id like a few extra Breathe Carolina dates though as i missed the tour last september Only thing that'd drag me to this tour now would be the additions of The Used, Yellowcard, Falling in Reverse and the like. If they didnt do their own dates around it that i could get to that is This gig only really makes sense for london people who want to see mostv the bands as ther all in one place, but for others who can catch the few bands they like on the tours around it is making this attempted at a 'Warped Tour' a tad redundant sadly.

That reads like a collection of mostly awful bands.

Surely going to all those tours separately would cost a hell of a lot more than just going to warped though?

each to their own. but i cant see many more who's decent on the tour date tbh. well yeah youd think so, but my mrs has got me photo pass +1's for 2 of them and ill probably get a free prophets one off my mate. As i live in wales most of them are local and id have to pay for train (as i hate megabus) and a half a london hotel plus a ticket.. so it'd not be worth it unless a few more bands i wanted to see who wernt touring near were added

Any idea when this band is being announced?

I see The Story So Far are playing Sound Circus in Bournemouth with Gnarwolves on the 3rd November. Can't remember if it had been posted in this thread or not. Anyone know if there'll be anymore?

Where'd you find these dates? TSSF in Coventry is very relevant to my interests.
