- Around 600 fans came to The Bull in Tampa, Florida last night for a FCW live event that benefited The Angelus, a group that volunteers their services to raise money for handicapped children. A group of handicapped children were sitting on the left and right sides of the entrance where the wrestlers came down at. The big draw of the night was a special appearance by The Undertaker, who also did a meet-and-greet before the show.
We noted before that FCW President Steve Keirn cut a promo before the show and thanked Undertaker for coming, mentioning that Taker and wife Michelle McCool were expecting a child. In an update, Keirn added that McCool is expecting their child any day now. Keirn added that Taker said he wouldn't miss the event for anything.
The Undertaker later suddenly appeared on stage after a Fatal 4 Way tag team match and the crowd gave him a standing ovation. Taker saluted the crowd and posed on stage with the handicapped children as the crowd chanted his name. The moment was described as out of character but completely classy for The Undertaker.
It would be very interesting if they acknowledged that The Undertaker is married to Michelle McCool upon his return to WWE. It's hardly in keeping with the dead man character but then it wasn't in keeping with Stone Cold Steve Austin's when they used his marriage to Debra as part of the storyline in 2001.
Housing Jim wrote:First off the 3 hour thing wasn't handled well at all. No one made it on to TV that wasn't usually featured on the two hour show. Instead of showing the Brock Lesner vs Triple H recap from last week twice they could have put in another short match. The tag team match did seem to get more time than it would have on a 2 hour show but apart from that the 3 hour thing was terrible.
i agree that instead of showing the second recap of triple h and lesnar they could have added another match/segment but for their first proper 3 hour show i thought they used it well. like i've previously said, all matches were longer. take del rio vs santino. instead of the usual 1 minute squash match that we usually get, we got a decent match then made santino look some what of a threat. the time given to the sheamus vs bryan match meant that we got a fantastic match, something which wouldn't have happened on a two hour raw. they appeared to start a mid card feud with clay and sandow which, again, wwe hasn't done for years and probably wouldn't have had in 2 hour raws, and bryan got even more tv time with his segments. as for guys not getting time, they still have smackdown, and if they use every guy on the roster then there won't be much reason to watch smackdown. not everyone needs to be used to raw. i did have a laugh at the fact that there were still no divas match though.
there was a lot of social media crap and recaps, but like i've said, i can easily block that stuff out and it doesn't annoy me as much because they only last a minute or two at a time. i'd also like to think that they're easing their way into the 3 hour format, so by using some easy tactics they don't blow it straight away.
Although I think they'll more likely work a Sheamus vs Orton face versus face match, and have ziggler cash in on Orton, setting up Orton versus Ziggler for a while. Ziggler can't feud with Jericho forever if he's buggering off on tour all the time.
properly enjoyed raw. lots of wrestling, less recaps, touts being put to good use (that jericho tout was brilliant and a couple of the sheamus ones were quite funny) and did i mention there was a lot of wrestling?
that's the main thing for me. i can't see how anyone can complain about raw being 3 hours if we're getting more of the thing that we actually want, wrestling. the quality of it is a decent level too. that bryan and cena match would have made a good ppv match, let alone a raw main event.
RAW was awesome. HBK really does make everything better. Lesnar is clearly going to attack HBK before SummerSlam adding fuel to Triple H's fire. Chris Jericho was fantastic.
Jericho kinda looks like he's bringing back his old WCW heel persona recently, he even did the cocky pin the other day and he hasn't done that in years. He's been doing the lion tamer properly on and off as well. Now all we need is him to grow his hair long again, stop wearing the small tights and start getting peoples names wrong on purpose.
I think he's embraced the character and done pretty well with it. I truly hope the Sandow attack will help a hell turn. He has been attacked by Big Show too for not being serious enough so he might try and become more ruthless.

Ha, did he really? That's incredible. He's definitely doing it then. Also, I know he's a face but he got cheered back in wcw for the most part anyway as a heel. It's great for me because I never liked the serious suited jericho as much. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrmbaaaaaaar.
raw was good this week but i find it too long. i downloaded it and it was 2 hrs 12 mins without breaks, i couldn't handle watching it w/ adverts. i also feel like its a social media overload.
amazes me how john cena is still so popular though. can anyone shed any light on why people love him so much?

Yep, he's also been calling Ziggler Dalph Zoggler on tout and slipped in a Mitchell Cole on RAW.
Anybody seen how Nash said something like "The company died when Guerrero and Benoit won at Mania 20." Jericho didn't take too kindly and made a funny in the process, saying he "hopes Nash doesn't pull a quad whilst tweeting."
I hope he starts doing those slow exaggerated steps around the ring again as a taunt. I also like it when he shouts "ask him! Ask him!" While the opponent is in a abdominal stretch or something. I wouldn't mind a return of the double arm back breaker as well. I'm such a jericho mark.
I can't even begin to understand nashs logic that the company died there....unless he's talking about them being small guys? Maybe he's just annoyed they had more than four moves.
Side slam Picture frame in corner thing Knees in corner Jackknife.
Yeah, it is a size thing. He mentioned Punk ad Bryan not being larger than life and, bizarrely, rambled on about how you wouldn't want to watch a porno starring a guy with a three inch dick...
nash coming back sucked. thankfully he didn't stick around and at least triple h got to win a match.
micheals in triple h's corner for SS.. will he screw hhh over or am i looking too much into this and it's just a nice side thing (like him reffing at wrestlemania)
punk's rant at the end to jerry was great, slowly turning heel but in a believable way.
chris jericho was ace on commentary.
thankyou sandow for not letting brodus dance again.
