I'm so glad England got stuffed. The ECB have proved again they are money grabbing bastards.

England have ripped through India this morning, 105-5 as it stands. Swann took 2 wickets in his first ever over in Test cricket, nice. If we can finish them off for around 200 we might just have a chance. good times!

South Africa have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in Australia with a dominant victory. This is brilliant. Obviously we won't beat them as we're worse, but it's great to see them struggling

We'll beat them, i'm actually very confident of that. No McGrath, Warne, Gilchrist, Hayden and whoever else, there's no experience and very little bowling strength aside from Lee (who's waining himself).

no we won't! we can't take 20 wickets so we don't stand a chance.

We can when the right bowlers are playing. Would you have said we stood a chance going into the Ashes series that we actually won? I'm sure you wouldn't...

We were a better team then. Anderson and Harmison are too inconsistent and too easy to score heavily off, Panesar is, well, shit, and presumably there'll still be no Jones, who was vital

Add in to that that it's Australia, who will raise their game to play us, and that they're still not much worse than South Africa, who are a lot better than us. I really can't see it

Pieterson resigned as England captain. Seems like he issued an ultimatum to the ECB and they told him to get stuffed.

Used to like KP - and still do, just not as much - but the guy's turned into a massive prat since being made captain.

Now some Durham stuff on there for a quid.

Glad Stuart Broad has seen beyond the flashing money signs that are the IPL to concentrate on his own preperation for the Ashes. Cracking young player and a level headed gent too.

Poor first session but it's not a very West Indian pitch! Spin on the first morning is bizzare!

i thought that to.was only after like 14 overs. and he managed to get some movement. was expecting something hard and flat with us batting after winning toss.

Strauss is a captain, Bell is rubbish, no coach but we're still going to win The Ashes.

get shah in for him and drop panesar for rashid. Would also like a coach that would be good. My Aussie mate rang me at 26-7 in absolute stitches
