I think it'd be ok. Generally it's a while after the thread has died that people want it to be enshrined.

yeah, thats why i shot it down. It'd be pretty tedious to see people always going on with "Make this a HALL OF FAME thread!"

But I think most people agree what does and doesn't constitute a Hall Of Famer. Beard, Phone bill thing, Goddamn Hippies are the only ones I can think of.
