I have no idea what model they are, but the standard Sony ones that come with their MP3 player walkmans are pretty good. I've had a pair that's lasted ages, even with regular use, and they rarely fall out of my ears if I'm running/rowing-machining etc.

I use these Sennheiser Adidas ones. They are really comfortable, block out most external noise and you don't get that horrible thudding in your ears from the movement. A bit pricey but mine have lasted much longer than when I've used none sports earphones which I think break because of all the jolting. I find them much better than the ones that go over your ears. Not been exercising enough recently and feel awful. It's so addictive. Back to bootcamp tomorrow, going to do a double to make up for my slacking.

That said, "Survivor" by Destiny's Child made an appearance... Suprisingly good workout music!
Well Call Me Maybe is one of the top 10 pop songs ever and Kelly Clarkson is a great girl - sounds a lot better than the boom boom disco shit that my local gym plays.

don't get me wrong, i quite enjoy call me maybe, and the odd few kelly clarkson songs. they just didn't lend themselves well to a workout, at least not for me.

You're doing it wrong then, I can easily imagine repping to Call Me Maybe. As people walk past you can even time the rep and the wink so they think you're singing them a love song.

Marky Mark is as subtle at arm exercises as he is at acting then.
Hmmm, does anybody use Runkeeper? I've been using it loads since they fixed the GPS bugs, even recording short rides to and from football practice, I'm almost getting addicted.

I've used it before, not since the fix though, I do prefer MiCoach though, I'm not sure if it is better or not but it does the job and I find it really easy to use, the added bonus of tailoring runs to do a specific job is awesome also.

I've done a couple of the PX90 workouts before which is similar and equally left me feeling like a broken wreck for days after, fair play. You pay full whack for it?

Lucky you!
I really want to buy insanity or the Px90 for myself but then I doubt I would do it at home or at the gym by myself as well, though I'm not sure if I would use it to do the full workout or just take ideas from it. I love the concept of it all though, plyometrics are ridiculously hard work but so effective.

Off the wagon. Fags and fast food abound. I wasn't even struggling particularly, I just let myself slip from gluttony. Gym has also neglected. I won't make the next Olympics with this attitude.

I go to the gym a fair bit, do street running, been doing boot camp for the last month but I still eat fairly cack so I don't see many gains. I've never smoked but drink now and then. I was a right pisshead in the past, but now only really drink once a month.
I go on a pretty decent forum where healthy eating is discussed a lot, as well as muscle building etc. I'm still a pot bellied fuck though.

Since you guys mentioned apps, does anyone have one with a wide range of activities that show calories burned? Calories burned isn't my main motivation while exercising but it's something I'm interested in tracking day by day.

myfitnesspal though it serms to work off of BMI which personally makes it redundant for myself, few friends seem to love it though.

It depends what you want to do - that Runkeeper app tracks approximate calories but only after you log an activity. You can do that "live" with GPS for outdoors type stuff or manually.

I watched the infomercial for this the other day for about 20 minutes. It was compelling.

i've just had a look at the video for it on youtube. looks amazing, but a quick amazon search shows it's fucking expensive for what it is. and also, surely that drastic a change in such a short time is gonna have adverse effects?
i mean, if you're packing some flab around the waist, surely rapid weightloss is going to leave you with those loose skin folds that you see on "celebrity fit club" (etc.) contestants who've lost a large amount of fat...?

Depends how big you are to start with, your skin is relatively elastic and providing you're not starting out massive it won't make a difference how fast you lose it, it should revert back.

Yeah I would log afterwards. I do such a combination of different shit so would like something that you log things like walking, circuit training, calisthenics, etc. I did use myfitnesspal but don't like the BMI bollocks.

Just reading an article on cracked.com and it has shown me the error of my ways with mma, fucking it off and going to start Bartitsu instead. Victorian era modern art, combining impecable suits, the greatest facial hair going and being a general badass.
