iRig or equivalent buying advice!

Postby yeah and what » Mon Jun 25, 2012 9:03 am

Easy, I'm after an iRig, what have any of you lot got?

I'm no doubt going to get Kieran saying a cheap one will work the same as the more expensive ones but I don't really mind price wise as long as it works, obviously if I don't have to throw £30+ at the one's on the apple store that is great but if they're the best option then that is fine.

I intend to use it as a proxy amp into some studio monitors I have to tie me over till I buy a new practice amp so it needs to do the audio out thing quite well also, well I will be using it as possibly a pre-amp/amp modeler for bedroom recording also so it really needs to be tip top on that department.

Can a mod lock this thread to stop these two morons ruining it before it even got started?

Come now, you can't seriously expect mods to have the time to lock threads simply because morons ruin them. We'd need a mod each.

Extremely fair point that did make me laugh, you may go back to trolling/troll hunting whichever one is which.

Hmmm, I assume a mod has edited this post. This place is like living in China.

I'm buying mine tomorrow as I get paid and am rich for a week or so.

I've got a 1st Gen iPad and garage band on it is really struggling to cope with the amount of modulation/fucking about on it I have started to do with some of the tracks on it. I need to try my mates iPad 2 to see if the performance is noticeably better for Garage band.
