Dreamy spires and Inspector Morse, Oxford's much more than a university city, it's a musical hotbed, re-shaping genres and planting large markers in the sand. Radiohead with their illustrious career, arguably the most important band the world has ever seen has seen in decades, made their mark here…“Forget Radiohead; Oxford is soon to be remembered as the city where this precocious young act began its rise to success” – Drowned In Sound
On their debut ‘Animals’ THIS TOWN NEEDS GUNS have produced a stunning album that has left fans and critics breathless…“study Animals with the diligence it deserves and you’ll walk away with a knowledge you never expected.” - Absolute Punk

&U&I are a math rock/post-hardcore band from Birmingham, United Kingdom. Born from the sudden split of UK underground heroes Blakfish, they bring a much more dischordant, urgent and agressive atmosphere to the table; in doing so pushing aside much of the major-key harmony and jokey vocal one-liners that made their predecessors so vital.
To date, &U&I have released a five track EP called, Kill The Man That Shot That Manand a critically-acclaimed full-length in Light Bearer. They have also toured with 65daysofstatic and have shared billis with the likes of Maybeshewill, Adebisi Shank and Talons.

We are Hold the Fight, a pop-punk/hardcore trio from the South Coast of England. Since forming in July 2010 we have had the pleasure of sharing stages all over the country with some great bands including ACODA, The James Cleaver Quintet, Our Time Down Here, Kyoto Drive, If I die today, Blitz Kids, Fights and Fires, Failsafe, The Hype Theory, Tubelord, The Xcerts, Second Smile, Our people versus yours and many more.
In March 2011 our good friends at Engineer Records helped us to release our self-titled EP digitally, enabling it to be available worldwide through the ITUNES store, Amazon, Spotify and many more online distributors. This release gathered praise from friends, fans and professional critics alike, enabling our name to spread that little bit further and setting a structure in place for the future.
Having spent the best part of 2011 writing an army of new songs we are champing at the bit to get back out on tour. 2012 is already gearing up to be a busy year for us in terms of tours and shows, both in the UK and mainland Europe. After all, we are just four guys who love music, love meeting new people and making new friends, and intend to take the adventure and creative excitement that is our music, as far, and to as many as possible.
Expect to see Hold the Fight in a town, city or model village near you very very soon and keep those peepers peeled as we will have merch and other exclusive information regarding our upcoming releases on here before anywhere else!
