Proper fun night out in Stratford last night. I love the spoons there that shows Match Of The Day. Bumped into a few acquaintances from school that i hadn't seen for 5 years or so and ended up 'dancing' to the latest pop music hitz in Chicago's. Got a stupid overpriced pizza from Snappy's for the journey home. Ridiculous decision but it feels wrong to not go there after a night out in Stratford.

thursday is a mess. all i know is apparently i saw some guy's penis, i got locked in rockbox, you carried me to a song, and that's about it. i only remember one of those things happening though. and it's not the penis.

last night was amazing. drinking and talk of things we all probably shouldn't have. thompson's arms and the single ladies dance. being shouted at by a transexual dj for writing a request list that "looks like a fucking shopping list" CHINESE KAREOKE AND MEATLOAF.

oh, and apparently i was shouting "are you a big name on myspace" to someone who was in big brother. what a night.

There are a few clubs but they're not anything special. Bureau is still knocking about and is the club that the 16/17 years olds go to and will have your standard town club playlist. Bit of everything popular at the time really. Oh and its got pretty cheap drinks. Chicago's is your standard Chicago Rock Cafe, you know what to expect there. Saint (used to be celebs) is a trendy funky house kinda club which doesn't serve pints, only bottles which are slightly on the expensive side but they have Desperados so its not all bad. A couple of years ago, there was a club down by the bancroft which had dubstep/d'n'b/other kinds of dance nights on which was pretty good but i haven't heard anything about it recently so it might have closed. Can't remember what it was called either.

If you want anything slightly alternative then you're not going to find it in Stratford.

Oh & any night that features Meatloaf is a BRILLIANT night, last night did not for me. We came second in the quiz by half a point which makes me want to die inside. I drank all of the beeeeeer instead of dying.

Work took me for a leaving party last night. £1000 on booze and strippers between 5 of us. Can't remember getting back to my hotel or getting a lift back down to Bournemouth from Bristol this morning. Head hurts a lot!

last night we did the fab cafe quiz. somehow we ended up doing boys vs girls AND... we lost. we came 4th, the boys won the whole goddamn thing. i am bitter, yes. they didn't even share their winnings! (£30) but as a quiz first timer i had lots of fun and intend to go again every week until i win. tonight will consist of a basement show & cider, then onto rockbox till 5am, then to my house to drink till 8am and learn the beyonce single ladies dance. WHAT-A-NIGHT.
