I've just powered through a tuna baguette and I have a six pack of diet Coke under my desk. Everything's coming up Milhouse!

Also, went to a gig last night and saw children pouring vodka into Fruitshoot bottles. Wrong.

Careen - you need an Emergen-C. Amazing for hangovers, you can get them from Holland & Barratt.

Whats this place like, it sounds cool

Opened about a week ago on Bennetts Hill - opposite Sun on the Hill - they do Mexican (ish) food like Burritos and what not and have a street food section, small plates and main courses. It's a bar/restaurant and nice and laid back. We had a few small plates and it was yum! There's a bar downstairs as well which we didn't go down to but I imagine it's just the same as upstairs. They do loads of cocktails and have special offers on at certain times.

It's owned by the people who own The Vic/Island/J&H. ie pretty awesome!

Bound to be good then, but are these people now taking over the whole city with cocktails?

Possibly, but I don't have a problem with that :-D

This bar is actually quite different, you wouldn't think they were all owned by the same people.

No I don't think so. There's a new manager at The Vic now anyway isn't there? Bodega is a bit more themed and similarly priced. I think there was a sign saying cheap cocktails on a Saturday, maybe before 8. This is the website but it only has the food menu on at the moment

Likewise though, I don't think I've ever paid full price for a drink in the Vic or Island!

Good isn't it?! I work there occasionally and I'm normally just handed cocktails and end up shitfaced. One of them just mixes bourbon, amaretto and ice. Literally drunk after one.

Coley - the food was pretty tasty but a bit cold :(

I just got back from Copenhagen. My god, the Danish can drink. I was there 3 nights and pretty much turned in a 12 hour drinking session for each night. My sleeping patterns are all messed up cos I've been sleeping 5am - 1pm and I've barely eaten for 3 days. I've just managed to keep down some soup which is the first proper meal I've had.
I feel so shit. Couldn't sleep last night and am at work somehow.

Cheering myself up is the fact that at the Limp Bizkit concert on Sunday night, I got down the front and had a brill view, hung out with The Blackout and spotted Good Charlotte and Example over the course of my visit. Just need to get over this now.

I've not been out in a few weeks due to moving house and becoming mega skint so I'm ridiculously excited about going out on Friday! Where's good in/around Leicester Square? I can't wait to get dressed up and go somewhere that isn't work or Tescos.

Oh man, last night was awesome. I fell up a flight of stairs ad cut my knee open, today it's so swollen I can't bend it. Ate ALL of the Scampi Fries too.

Someone decided that it would be a brilliant idea to go to tiger tiger in london after an evening of posh cocktails for a friends birthday. my head currently disagrees with this brilliant idea.

may or may not have been my brilliant idea to go to tiger tiger.
oops.
