Went to a free screening of Cabin in the Woods last night, I really enjoyed it but it seemed to go right over a lot of peoples heads which was a shame.

Tried to get tickets but saw it too late on the Empire site. It seems to be a film that is very much dividing people. I've been looking forward to it for going on two years now, though I regret watching the trailer as I think it potentially gives a bit too much away.
In other news, saw The Hunger Games on opening day. Did not disappoint in any way, shape or form, every other film has its work cut out beating it for movie of 2012 now.
It was good, felt a little long winded to get in to it as I feel they established a lot early on, and the visuals with the people looking overly made up really got to me.
All in all though was a good film, not the best, but worth a trip to Orange Wednesday
Quite liked Tower Heist, an enjoyable caper... was reuniting Ferris Bueller with Ferrari destruction done on purpose? Also, The Guard was great, with a dynamite script and wonderful interplay between the two leads.
I literally just said I thought it was average when he posted about how it was perfect or whatever. I deleted the RSS feed for Juliana's food blog in retaliation.
Should have either ended on the freeze frame, ended with a tiny bit of movement after the freeze frame or stuck with the happy ending but not sugar-coated it to the point of nausea.
If you'd seen The Hunger Games then you'd know that it isn't cheesy in the slightest so your joke doesn't work
It's not my joke, fanboy.
I enjoyed the joke, more so than i imagine i will enjoy the HG movie, but that will have to wait until a bluray release to be proved or disproved as im not funding at the cinema.
I watched, Real Steel at abround 4pm yesterday.... what a magnificent Sunday afternoon movie. ... Its ((Rocky + ROBOTS)X Fighting)/Absentfather Son story = lovely + ACE

Why don't you want to fund via the cinema?
Not trolling; I am genuinely interested in your reasoning for this.

Just got back from the cinema for this - it's incredibly well done. I think it went over some of my friends heads but it was easy enough to explain afterwards.
