Started Season 2 of Deadwood this week. Pretty sure I only understand about 15% of it but I love it.

I've seen all if season 4 before, just not this time around. Now we've got Reuben I'm having to be een more selective, hence me asking about the other shows earlier. We did rewatch all of Millenium though. That was so good.

Wow.

So you care so little about me that you started googling me and found a photo I took and then made it your profile picture. And you think that's normal behaviour, don't you? What was the purpose? If it was to creep me the fuck out then congratulations. Feel free to take the creepy bastard award. Fucking hell.

Sorry for the off-topic guys but I just noticed that and just... fucking hell.

Amazing.

I really should watch the rest of Millenium. Have the first season on DVD, other than that I never watched any more (apart from The X-files cross over ep titled Millenium) Think it only went 2 or 3 seasons though right? Seem to remember it being a bit darker on tone than The X-Files (that admittedly had its fair share of darker episodes).

Also never seen any episodes of the spin off show 'The Lone Gunmen'. From what I've read though it wasn't a lot of cop and was canceled not long into its run...I think.

I've never seen Millennium for some reason, or The Lone Gunmen. I should probably give them a go

Danathon wrote:Ah well, only gonna set me back a couple of quid for the second film if I'm the winning bid, so no great loss if it is utter toss.

Funnily enough I watched D.P.O yesterday, I even Shazamed the music Pheobes brother was listening too in the work shop (Filter -Hey Man Nice Shot). Made me wanna dig out my Sega Saturn to play Virtua Fighter 2 as well funnily enough.

Not watching them in any order, but might make a concerted effort to watch season 8 again from the start, mainly for Doggett. I know season 8 had some obvious reasons from fans for disliking it due to cast choices, but unfairly so from what I remember (casting didn't particularly dissapointed me) it was a pretty decent season. It has been 10 years since I watched it in its entirety though.

Have also sat through all the Buffys on DVD. When it appears on Sky now I do wonder how I managed to do that. Isn't the musical One More Time With Feeling? They milked the merch for that one ep. Quite enjoyed it mind.

It's definitely worth watching anyway

I'd probably have hated series eight if I'd been watching it when it was first broadcast because of Mulder not being there but because I watched it a few years later I was already used to the idea so I liked Doggett. I didn't like the woman (Monica?), she was annoying, although she might've come in in series nine

I'd stopped watching Buffy before the musical one, series six was so toss I gave up about half-way through

I fucking love Millennium. It was my main reason for starting X Files again. I want to see the crossover.

I quite liked it although it is nothing like the xfiles, more like an episodic who dunnit. I have however never watched the final episode as i know what happens and if i dont watch it then it doesn't happen. (stupid logic i know) and i think it is a crossover episode with an x files episode that i have also never seen

I'm pretty sure I'll watch The Lone Gunmen either when I've finished the X-Files again or possibly between series eight and nine as it'll fit in better, might as well with it only being 13 episodes

I've been powering through series four, getting through the shit like El Mundo Gira (although Tuco from Breaking Bad turning up was a nice surprise), Teliko and The Field Where I Died was a bit of a struggle but Unruhe, Paper Hearts and Musings Of A Cigarette Smoking Man are still brilliant. Looking forward to getting into less familiar (albeit mostly less good) territory from series five onwards

Also I'd forgotten what a great girl Marita Covarrubias is

Am watching X-files episodes in dribs and drabs, though have started season 8 from the start and am gonna watch in order till the end. Forgot about Mark Snows score being quite noticeably different from this season on. A couple of Episodes in and Doggett is already the Doggetts Bollocks (see what I did there?).

I watched Paper Hearts the other day too. One of my favourite episodes, the ending especially with the girl counting down and Mulder knowing what he has to do despite what it's gonna cost him. Think they could have got away with playing the episode totally straight and left out the '2 minds as one' thing, though I guess that wouldn't have been very X-filey then though.

So...what did people think of the season finale of Game of Thrones? It wasnt as breathtaking as season ones finale for me.

Spoiler: show
And nowhere near enough Tyrion for my liking! The dragon scenes were fantastic though. Had me shouting 'GO DAENERYS!' at the TV.

We watched seven episode over the last two days and will power through the rest today. Jerome saying "there's no cure for being a cunt" really was incredible, I was looking out for it since it was mentioned - he's so great. Him and Tyrion are such a great pair of characters.

You love your children. It's your one redeeming quality; that and your cheekbones.

Thats probably my favourite quote of both seasons so far.

Me hating Joffrey shows he plays it well...I give him that.

Tyrion though...absolute legend.

His line in the penultimate episode about all the gods being cunts was great. The sea god wants people to drown, the fire god wants people to burn, why isn't their a god of tits and wine?

In fact the whole Blackwater episode was incredible.
