These gigs will be less than half full. There is nowhere near an arena's worth of demand for these bands now.

i dunno, less than half full is a bit excessive... I wouldnt expect them to sell out but wouldnt be surprised if they did

I dunno, I think they can sell a lot of tickets due to the fact Evanescence were one of those bands on the level of popularity as Linkin Park et al. There's definitely an audience for them, but they're probably mostly goffs/lamestreamers. They definitely won't be selling tickets off the back of any of their recent material though. So yeah, it definitely feels a bit weird, and I don't know quite how The Used ended up supporting. There must be an announcement soon about the Hopeless Records bands for Warped though..

The Used set is great considering the support slot.

Take it away
Bird and the worm
Listening
Put me out
I caught fire
Taste of ink
All that ive got
Blood on my hands
Pretty handsome awkward
Box full of sharp objects

Very happy with that. Bring on friday :)

The Used were great in Manchester Tuesday night, but the crowd were TERRIBLE. Even when Evanescence were on they hardly moved at all! Goth Kids don't know how to have fun!

I don't know what's funnier, your amount of butthurt or the fact that the Kurt in question starts with a K.

Yeah wembley was barely over half full. Well the seating was pretty full but the crowd only really went to the sound desk on the floor and it was hardly tightly packed infront of that.

The Used had a great set, tried hard but the cavernous echos of a half full wembley arena really made them sound fairly poor. Not a load better than glassjaw were supporting brand new there. Sound for bands like that is always very poor sadly. Hate the venue.

Evanescence were actually really good. Literally no crowd interaction until the end or any stage show as such but the band were tight and amy lee sounded note perfect the entire set. Quite impressed especially as it sounded like she had a cold when she did speak. Stayed near the back for their set for which screens would have been very helpful as goth kids seem to be surprizingly tall.

if the seating was pretty full then I'd say they sold more tickets than you'd think.

I remember hearing once that they sell the floor space by regulation so a set diameter around each person, obviously people then move forward so the back of the venue is left looking empty.

I went to an undersold gig at Wembley once, they had a curtain up behind the sound desk cutting the venue in half...
