Canterbury call it a day

By Ben Tipple

British melodic rockers Canterbury have announced that they will be calling it a day following three farewell shows in December.

The band, who have released three full-length albums including this year’s incredible ‘Dark Days’, announced their decision in a statement via Facebook.

Canterbury have spent the last seven years developing a unique take on British melodic rock, often staying ahead of the pack in terms of innovation. Led by frontman Mike Sparks’ both distinctive and faultless vocals, the band injected a darker tone into their sound. The result saw them develop into one of the most accomplished and exciting live bands on the UK circuit. With only three dates left, we strongly recommend you see the four-piece before it’s too late.
