City & Colour announce album release details

By Ben Tipple

Having unveiled new track, ‘Woman’, last week via Zane Lowe and Beats1, City & Colour – aka Dallas Green – has now revealed the full album release details for his forthcoming ‘If I Should Go Before You’ LP.

The follow-up to 2013’s ‘The Hurry And The Harm’ will be available from the 9th October via Dine Alone Records.

“They inspired me to want to create new music, just to create it with them – I don’t think I wrote these songs for the band, per se, but I certainly wrote them because of the band,” Green explains. “Anybody who has seen us play will understand that this is the best representation of what we do live that we have ever recorded. I was so excited about being able to make and record an album with these guys that it just flowed. I felt so confident about their abilities to make all of my ideas come true.”

Since releasing ‘The Hurry And The Harm’, Green has been keeping himself busy as one half of You & Me; completed by Alecia Moore. Green is also a key player in the recent Alexisonfire reunion.

Pre-orders will be available from Friday both digitally and physically.
