Crown Of Thornz to release first new music 17 years

By Glen Bushell

New York hardcore kings Crown Of Thornz have announced initial details of their first new music in 17 years. The band will release a two track 7″ titled ‘Nothing But Tragedy’ on Bridge Nine Records later this year, and is their first recorded output since 1998’s split with Aggressive Dogs.

The band were mainly active in the mid-nineties, and rose to prominence with their critically acclaimed album ‘Mentally Vexed’ in 1996 before calling it a day in 1998. Frontman Lord Ezec has since gone on to release music with Skarhead, and under his Danny Diablo moniker, before the band regrouped in 2009 and have played shows sporadically since.

We will bring you more news on the release when it happens, but in the meantime, here’s their classic anthem ‘Juggernaut’ to tide you over.
