Cytota reveal video for ‘Shapes’

By Ben Tipple

Complete with new frontman Griffin Dickinson, Birmingham’s Cytota have revealed the video for new track ‘Shapes’.

“The initial idea was the theme of Stockholm syndrome,” video director Ben Crocker explains. “I wanted to create something that was a little more subjective rather than literal. The white symbolising purity and innocence but tempted by the black that is an overpowering colour.”

The band are preparing to release their debut full-length in 2015 following a 2014 filled with tours and festival appearances, including a slot at Download Festival.

Cytota are currently supporting Crossfaith on their UK tour.
