Failure announce London headline show

By Glen Bushell

Iconic space rock pioneers Failure will finally bring their reunion to London. The trio will play The Garage May 18th, and will be the first time the band have been on our shores since the 90’s when they were over supporting Tool. Front man Ken Andrews said the following of the show:

“So much of the England’s musical history is in the DNA of Failure’s sound. After 17 years away, we’ve spent the last year finding our feet again as a live band as well as writing and recording our new album, ‘The Heart is a Monster’. We’re in the best form of our career and we’re now ready to bring Failure back to the UK for what is the first of many shows to come.”

Tickets for the show go on sale April 1st at 10am.

In addition to this, the band premiered their first new material in 19 years on Daniel P. Carters Rock Show on BBC Radio 1 last night. He played new song ‘Hot Traveller’, which is the first song to be released from their forthcoming album ‘The Heart Is a Monster’, and the follow up to their highly influential 1996 album ‘Fantastic Planet’. You can hear the track just past the two hour mark on the show by clicking the link below, and see a video of the band playing it for the first time at SXSW recently.
