Faith No More to release first new album in 18 years in 2015

By Glen Bushell

Well, the wait is finally over. Legendary rock band Faith No More plan to release a brand new album, their first since 1997’s ‘Album Of The Year’ in April of 2015. The album will be produced and recorded by the band themselves, and released on front man Mike Patton’s label Ipecac.

The as yet untitled album will be preceded by the release of the single ‘Motherfucker’ on November 28th, and limited to 5000 copies for Record Store Day’s Black Friday. It will included a remix of the song by J.G Thirwell as the B-side. The new song was debuted during Faith No More’s performance at hyde park back in July, and you can check out a fan shot video of the track below.

Roll on April 2015!
