Garbage to release 20th anniversary edition of self-titled debut

By Ben Tipple

Having already announced a special US and EU tour to celebrate 20 years since their self-titled debut, Scottish alt-rockers Garbage have now revealed the anniversary edition of the record.

The record will feature remastered tracks, plus remixes and previously unreleased material related to the record. Those pre-ordering the record via iTunes will also receive an instant download of the previously unreleased ‘Subhuman (Supersize Mix)’.

Physical copies of ‘garbage’ are also available to pre-order now.

“This is a very special occasion for all of us in garbage. We are particularly excited about the upcoming tour - the intent of which is pretty much the celebration of a 20 year long affair between us and those who have loved us,” says iconic vocalist Shirley Manson.

In anticipation of the release and tour, the band are streaming the Supersize Mix of ‘Subhuman’.

Garbage will be heading across the states in October, before heading to Europe for ten dates, including four in the UK.
