Kill Hannah announce final UK shows

By Ben Tipple

Chicago electronic-rockers Kill Hannah have announced that after 20 years together, the band will play their final shows ever in December.

Having decided to part ways, the band will play three dates in the UK before returning to their home city for two farewell gigs.

“Twenty years,โ€ says Mat Devine, Kill Hannah founder and frontman. โ€œIt feels surreal to acknowledge, but that’s how long it’s been since music was first ever released under the name Kill Hannah. Weโ€™re still thick as thieves, and have nothing but pride for what weโ€™ve accomplished, but we feel its just time to celebrate the end instead of letting it fade away.โ€

“We all wanted to play Metro one more time,” Devine continues discussing their final Chicago shows. “It’s been our home forever, having played there more than any band in history โ€“ 42 times!”
