Having already seen a release in their home-country, Swedish expansive post-rock influenced Killers Walk Among Us are set to release their self-titled record in the UK and US on the 26th August 2014.
Their debut album is also their last, following the tragic loss of frontman Stefan Holmberg after a battle with depression.
Killers Walk Among Us, largely the brainchild of Holmberg, have been collating material for the past decade, ultimately leading the complete self-titled record.
‘Bonjour Tristesse’, the lead single from the record, builds vocals and choirs on top of a huge post-rock soundscape. Like many Swedish bands before them, Killers Walk Among Us are set to reinvent the way post-rock is perceived, and to expand the genre even further. There are elements of Cult of Luna and Mogwai, but also of Circa Survive and their ilk.
