Although his short music career may have teetered more into pop than alternative, Chris Hardman, aka Lil’ Chris, will be remembered as the rising star on TV’s Rock School. He later went on to release charting single ‘Checkin’ It Out’ via RCA.
This afternoon, news has emerged of Hardman’s passing. Although full details of the death remain unknown, speculation guided by recent Tweets is leaning towards consequences of depression.
Hardman tweeted the following last year, drawing attention to the condition: “I hope to one day create a way out of depression that doesn’t mean taking your own life. The Cure.”
