Lonely The Brave reveal first new track in almost a year

By Ben Tipple

Lonely The Brave have unveiled new track, ‘River, River’ – their first new material since the middle of the last year. The track will feature on the Victory Edition re-release of their debut album, ‘The Day’s War’.

“River, River’ was the first song we wrote after we finished the ‘The Day’s War’,” the band explain. “We’ve been playing it live for a good while and have been asked a lot by fans when we would release it. Although we’re working on our second record at the moment we wanted to get something new out there as quickly as possible.”

The reissue will feature 3 other brand new tracks, which the band have been playing live on their recent UK tour.

As well as supporting Twin Atlantic in May, Lonely The Brave will also be playing a very special stripped back gig accompanied by strings on the 3rd June in London. They will be also appearing at Reading and Leeds Festivals at the end of August.
