Me First And The Gimme Gimmes announce co-headline with The Skints

Me First And The Gimme Gimmes will co-headline the Jägermeister Music Tour with The Skints.

This year, the Jägermeister Music UK Tour will take in four dates in mid-December. It follows the success of last year’s tour, which saw Ghost, Gojira and The Defiled play to packed out venues across the UK.

Punk-rock veterans Me First And The Gimme Gimmes feature Spike Slawson on vocals, NOFX’s Fat Mike on bass, Lagwagon’s Joey Cape on rhythm guitar, current Foo Fighters member Chris Shiflett on lead guitar, and Lagwagon’s Dave Raun on drums. The supergroup released their latest record, ‘Are We Not Men? We Are Diva!’ earlier this year, compiled of punk covers of tracks from the world’s biggest female performers.

They will be joined by London-based regga-dub four piece The Skints.

“We’re really excited to be on the Jägermeister tour, playing with Me First and the Gimme Gimmes is very humbling for us,” The Skints said. “The band and crew are all great people and we can’t wait to play some UK venues for the first time this year due to being in Europe and the studio. A punky reggae party indeed.”

Pre-sale for the tour opens on Wednesday 17th September, with general sale starting on the 19th September. All tickets are priced at £10 (subject to booking fee).
