Music Venue Trust, Independent Venue Week, the Arts Council England and the Southbank Centre in London have teamed up to host the first Venues Day.
According to the Facebook announcement, “the first major national event of its kind, Venues Day 2014 will bring together music venues from across the UK to celebrate our incredible music network. If you own, manage or promote a live music venue, this event has been created specifically to bring you together. We want to hear from you about the challenges, the successes, good practice and the future. We will be announcing major industry speakers, key decision makers, and we will be inviting local decision makers that can make a difference to your venue.”
