Reading and Leeds Festival organisers have confirmed the line-up for this year’s Alternative Stage; hosting some of the best in comedy, spoken word and music.
The Alternative Stage sits alongside the primarily music focussed venues, which will welcome the likes of Marmozets, Alexisonfire, Against Me! and Refused, as well as headliners Mumford & Sons, Metallica and The Libertines.

Independent record label Trangressive will also return to Reading and Leeds on the Saturday and Sunday nights, hosting some new and established artists. The list features Wiley, Jackmaster, Novelist, Madame X, DJ Target + DJ sets from Alt J, Palma Violets, Jen Long and BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens.
Propaganda will also be welcomed to the site, featuring special DJ sets from XFM, The Libertines’ Gary Powell (Leeds only)), and The Kooks’ Hugh Harris (Reading only)), DJ’s Rave Karaoke (Leeds only) and Buttoned Down Disco.
