Illinois sad boys Real Friends will be releasing another acoustic EP, fittingly titled ‘More Acoustic Songs’. The release, due on the 18th April via Fearless Records, will feature stipped back versions of ‘Summer’, ‘I Don’t Love You Anymore’, ‘Late Nights In My Car’ (feat. This Wild Life’s Kevin Jordan), and a cover of The Starting Line’s ‘Island’.
“We are stoked to showcase our songs in acoustic form,” says songwriter and bassist Kyle Fasel. “The main reason we did this was for personal taste. We all have connected with acoustic music in the past and currently. It’s also an added bonus to highlight these versions of our songs to our fans. It shows our songs in another light that we are very excited about sharing.”
A limited edition vinyl will be avialable on the 18th April for Record Store Day at selected worldwide retailers. 5% of proceeds from the digital edition through 2015 will be donated to Hope For The Day and Hinsdale Humane Society
