By Ben Tipple

Rose Coloured Records have announced the forthcoming split release between Our Lost Infantry member Joe Ashworth’s new venture itoldyouiwouldeatyou, and singer-songwriter Annabel Allum. Allum has enjoyed comparison to Elliot Smith, Sigur Ros and Cate le Bon, with itoldyouiwouldeatyou drawing influence from the likes of Say Anything and Manchester Orchstra. The release marks the first recorded material by the South East four-piece.

The collaboration took form over Halloween weekend in Hampshire, recorded by Thom Ashworth. It surrounds themes of youth and young adulthood, taking it’s name, ‘We Have Not yet Panned Out’, from a quote by American author Sam Lipsyte.
