Punk trio The Kenneths will be releasing their new EP, ‘E’, on the 15th June 2015.
“‘E’ is our 2nd E.P in four months. All we care about is playing live, and we really captured that with this E.P. The songs are super raw and bouncy, we tried to cut out all of the fat,” notes vocalist and guitarist Joshua Weller. “Everything you hear is live. We’re a live band so the main goal was to try and capture the energy and explosiveness of the live shows. We even got people to sit in the room while we were recording to make it feel more like a show,” adds bassist Lewis Maynard.
To celebrate the announcement of their new EP, The Kenneths are streaming new track ‘Cool As You’.
“‘Cool As You’ is about seeing all the cool kids and just wishing you could fit in, and be hip. Even though it’s actually far better to be an outcast and a misfit. You work harder, and end up doing way better. The cool kids at school peak way too early.”
