New Jersey indie-punk outfit Titus Andronicus have posted an epic six-track video, clocking in at almost fifteen and a half minutes.
The video, named ‘The Magic Morning’/’Beside Himself’ (or “the album’s second act” as the band call it), precedes the band’s ninety plus minute punk-rock odyssey, ‘The Most Lamentable Tragedy’. Their latest LP will be available from the 7th August via Merge.
Offering an insight into the forthcoming saga, ‘The Magic Morning’ introduces the stories protagonist, “The Lookalike”, and the powers of the Vernal Equinox.
“People have been putting [Titus Andronicus] in a box for too long,” says vocalist and songwriter Patrick Stickles. “We can do anything we decide to be our will, and I am proud to say this little movie was done entirely ‘in-house,’ in one day. Doubt and deny [Titus Andronicus] are your own peril.”
The band have also revealed the lyrics for the 29-track opus via Genius ahead of release.
