Youth Code stream new EP ‘A Place To Stand’

By Glen Bushell

Industrial/EBM band Youth Code are streaming their new EP ‘A Place To Stand’ via Pitchfork. You may ask why would we cover an EBM band? The reason being is that Youth Code have a strong standing in punk. The duo of Sarah Taylor, a prominent figure within the LA punk scene, and Ryan George who is best known for his work in the highly influential hardcore band Carry On, create a harsh noise that mixes Skinny Puppy style EBM with a hardcore punk sensibility. The EP follows their critically acclaimed self-titled album from 2013, and once again will be released on DIAS Records. The EP, which is released on September 23rd, can be pre-ordered now, ย and you click the link below to listen to it.
