Danish punks Yung are streaming their new track ‘Don’t Cry’, taken from their forthcoming ‘Alter’ EP. Bringing a grittier edge to the likes of Cloud Nothings, Yung are set to release the record on the 2nd March 2015.
The celebrate the release, the Aarhus based four-piece will be heading to the UK for their first UK show on the 2nd March at The Old Blue Last in London.
‘Don’t Cry’ holds a sturdy punk foundation, hidden by a layer of relentlessly distorted guitars that present Yung as an exciting addition to the new wave. It’s both dark and whimsical, not far from surfing in the Nordic sea.
