As we all know by now, Hevy Fest made a triumphant return this year. Bouncing back after its troubles – and unfortunate cancellation – 2013, and a lower than anticipated turn out in 2014, this year was home to some awe-inspiring performances, and proved itself as one of the best small festivals in the UK. In between seeing some of the finest bands from home and abroad, we also found the time to catch up with several of the acts performing at Hevy Fest this year. We spoke to headliner’s Coheed & Cambria, long running U.S. punks Teenage Bottlerocket, rising British pop-punk band As It Is, and many more across the weekend.
