Farnham based five-piece Homebound are fundamentally pop-punk, but on ‘Coming of Age’ they deliver a rockier edge that pulls them slightly towards Lower Than Atlantis territory. Citing affinity to the likes of The Wonder Years and Neck Deep, the band still fill the track with genre-defining gang vocals and unpredictable structures.
‘Coming of Age’ is taken from the band’s debut EP of the same name, scheduled for release on the 21st July 2014. The EP centres around the moment you realise you have to make many decisions about the future, following 18 years of knowing exactly what the next day entails.
