First play of the new Max William track featuring Harker

By Ben Tipple

Based on the Isle of Wight, singer-songwriter Max William’s honest and true compositions have seen him shares stages with the likes of Punktastic favourites Into It. Over It., Koji, Moose Blood and I Am The Avalanche.

William is currently preparing to release his new record, ‘Long Distances’, on the 1st August 2014 via his own Mask Vs Mask Records, and will be touring alongside Nathan Detroit and Boston Manor in support of the record shortly thereafter.

Ahead of this release, Max William is premiering ‘Squanderer’, featuring Brighton based four-piece Harker. The track showcases William’s simple emo influenced singer-songwriting, and his melancholic lyrics. ‘Squanderer’ retains a consistent airy guitar led feel, while discussing the perceived futility of life. The guests provide a particularly prominent gritty edge to the otherwise breathy vocals, which ultimately sounds excellent.

‘Long Distances’ is available to pre-order now via Mask Vs Mask Records.

Catch Max William on tour with Boston Manor and Nathan Detroit in August.
