First play of the new The Saddest Landscape track

By Ben Tipple

It’s been 12 years since The Saddest Landscape exploded onto the hardcore scene, and judging by new track ‘Burning Fight’ (a cover of The Inside Out’s 1994 track) nothing is set to slow them down. Taking the DIY hardcore-punk original, fronted by Rage Against The Machine’s Zack de la Rocha, The Saddest Lanscape inject their characteristic subtle brutality into their contemporary version.

The track is taken from their forthcoming split with Florida post-hardcore outfit Frameworks, who have already revealed their cover of The White Stripe’s ‘Fell In Love With A Girl’.

Both bands are gearing up for a co-headline tour across Europe and the UK on Friday (10th October 2014). It marks the first time Frameworks have headed abroad, and sees the highly-anticipated return of The Saddest Landscape.

The split 7″ is available via Soft Speak Records, who have an exclusive colour variant in stock. Topshelf Records are co-releasing, with records also available here.

Catch the bands on the following dates, with The Tidal Sleep completing the line-up for the majority of the tour.
