Let’s get silly with the new split from Tens/Dog & Wolf

By Maryam Hassan

Oh Chicago! You are good at what you do. You have amazing pizza (I am team deep dish for sure), you drink this awful drink Malort and man do you have a lot of good bands. Today we bring you a split EP from two of Chicago’s silliest: Tens and Dog & Wolf. You may remember us talking about them last year when we wrote a whole load about new bands we love in the Windy City, so we are super stoked on this collab effort. Check out the split below:

Both bands have been playing together on and off for the past year and this split commemorates lots of planning and discussion as this effort is a DIY release with no label backing. The CD release show for this split will be at Fizz Bar and Grill in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood on Saturday and they will be joined by friends and fellow bands Otto Mann and The Bigger Empty. You can find the Facebook event for the show here and you can purchase tickets here.

The cover art for the split EP was conceived and drawn by musician and designer Jason Douglass Swearingen.

These songs will also be available via the Tens and Dog and Wolf Bandcamps.
