Just in case you’re not aware of WACO yet: the four-piece hail from various parts of the UK (Yorkshire, Jersey, Coventry) and they’re just about to release their new EP through Venn Records on Thursday. ‘Sundown’ was produced by Steve Sears (Gallows, Hang The Bastard), and not only can we bring you an exclusive stream of the EP, but the first watch of their new video ‘Agitation’, which you can find below.
If you needed any more reasons to listen to WACO, here’s what Gallows and Venn Records’ Laurent ‘Lags’ Barnard has to say about them: “My buddy Steve who I’ve been working with on the Gallows and Krokodil albums played me this band he recorded not too long ago. They were called WACO. I fell in love with the hooks and realness of the songs straight away and hit the band up to find out what their plans were for the EP release. These are songs to sing along to until there’s nothing left.”
‘Sundown’ will be available to download for £4 on WACO’s Bandcamp page for this week only. It will also be available in tape form (only 100 tapes pressed) with a free patch and digital download from the EP launch show at The Fiddlers Elbow in Camden this Thursday (04/12/14). The worldwide digital release of the EP is in January. Get on it!
