Evesham fast-paced punks Officer Down are set to release their new ‘Dead Lands’ LP next month. Drawing influence from melodic punk acts such as Strike Anywhere, Anti-Flag and Descendents, the trio often outshine their heroes in pace, injecting a healthy dose of skate-punk into the mix.
‘Dead Lands’ is a hybrid of punk and hardcore that retains its relentless pace throughout. There’s no letting up in the dominating and exhausting drum beat in tracks such as ‘Open Waters’.
Hitting shelves on the 7th July via TNS Records, we are streaming ‘Dead Lands’ in full ahead of its official release.
