Our acoustic session this week is a little bit special. We have a song from Warren Franklin and Anthony Sanders that they actually wrote for our Assistant Editor Maryam Hassan via Downwrite. Downwrite is this rather awesome website started up by Bob Nanna (Braid) and Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids) that provides a song writing service. They have a list of very talented and awesome musicians from William Beckett to PJ Bond to Shane Henderson to Kate Grube and you pick one you connect with to write a song for you on something close to you. It’s a bit like Max Bemis and his song shop, but you get a proper song out of it.
