Brighton trio Oh Captain! play post-hardcore as it should be. Drawing influence from a whole host of powerhouses in the field, their sound is unpredictable, emotive and beautifully raw.
Their affinity to a range of musical styles is ever evident, not least on ‘Invisionary’. Having recorded the track with PaperCrane Recordings ahead of working on new music and touring in November with The Hyena Kill, Oh Captain! have filmed a live session.
“This track was written about feeling like you’re completely invisible and then realising that you’re actually a person and therefore valuable,” the band say of the uplifting ‘Invisionary’.
