Chester based punk rock and rollers inject a dirty characteristic into their sound that fans of Gallows and Cancer Bats may be accustomed to. On new track, ‘Bourbon Legend’, the four-piece channel the ferociously cocky attitude of Ghost Of A Thousand and their ilk, overlaying it with genuine grit.
The track is taken from the band’s latest 7″, ‘Black Years II’, available via Footloose Records. It was recorded last year by Chris Fielding at Skyhammer Studios.
Black Years have to date enjoyed shows alongside the aforementioned Cancer Bats, as well as Deaf Havana, The Hell, ’68, and Bastions. Further live dates are on the cards.
