Having dropped their new single, ‘Bang Bang’, last month, Green Day have confirmed a handful of UK headline arena dates in support of their forthcoming ‘Revolution Radio’ LP.
Their first UK shows since headlining Reading and Leeds in 2013, Green Day will take to stages in Leeds, Manchester and London in February 2017.
“Of course the world has lost its collective mind… and me, Mike and Tré are lost souls too,” said Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong of their forthcoming album. “’Revolution Radio’ is a movement for lost souls to come together, dance together, sing together, and most of all, find each other. That’s what the spirit of Green Day has been about since day one.”
‘Revolution Radio’ will be available from the 8th October 2016, and is available to pre-order on CD, vinyl and digital formats.
Tickets for the tour go on sale at 9AM on Friday 9th September 2016.
