Avenged Sevenfold have apparently cancelled their UK tour. According to a post on their website: “The tour has been cancelled. Some of the shows are sold out and we are sorry, but the fact of the matter is new material is hitting us really hard right now. Just like after “WTF” we felt like we finally figured out the direction we wanted to go… its happened again and we just need to write and get it out. We have toured for about 15 months straight and it’s time to move on to new shit. If we start writing now the record could be out in late 2007. If we wait then Warners can release it until mid 2008 and that would just suck. Sorry about the dates, but when we come back we’ll have a new record.”
