Although some internet busybodies have already drawn the connection between Reading and Leeds’ announcement today and the Canadian cult veterans, festival organisers have now confirmed that Alexionfire will be taking to the Main Stage as their European exclusive reunion show. The announcement was originally scheduled for later in the day, however the band let slip via their official social media channels.
The classic line-up returns, following their brief reunion to celebrate their 10th anniversary back in 2012.
Alexisonfire join headliners Metallica, Bring Me The Horizon, Royal Blood, Pierce The Veil and Marmozets on Saturday 29th August at Reading and Sunday 30th at Leeds.
