As we stated earlier this week after several murmurings from the Ataris camp, Lou Giordano will indeed produce the next Ataris album.
‘So Long Astoria‘ will be produced by the chap who has previously been at the helm for Samiam, Goo Goo Dolls and Sunny Day Real Estate.
In a message posted on www.ataris.com the band state: “We will finally start recording this month with a release date slated for Jan/Feb. 2003. We will be finished recording by the end of October and plan to tour the world like crazy as soon as the record is finished.
“We are all very honored to be working with Lou and we will keep you posted throughout the recording on how things are going.”
