Texan pop-punkers Bowling For Soup have announced plans to release their new album in August.
Jaret from the band told us that he was frustrated with the delays, but we still can’t wait to hear it!
He said: “Alrighty…..The album release has been pushed back to August 6th. That’s right, DRUNK ENOUGH TO DANCE will now be released on August 6th in the US, UK, and Canada……
“So if you are already responding to this with your disgust, you can save your typing fingers, because the band is just as disappointed as you are, however, the label felt that more time was needed to prepare for the release, and so far, they are doing a great job and are being very supportive of the band.
“OK, so that is the bad news. But is it really that bad? July
only has 4 weeks, and the album was set for the second week, so we are only talking about a few days to wait. And heck, don’t be too disappointed, the album might not even be that good, and then you got all worked up over nothing!!!
“The first single, GIRL ALL THE BAD GUYS WANT, is starting to show up on a few radio and video stations, and you can all really help by requesting it
once a day. The Video should be getting a lot of play in the UK in the next few days. The single officially hits the air waves in early July, so please don’t let up on the requests. We have to keep ‘um coming.”
