After some serious teasing, Bring Me The Horizon officially unveiled their new track via the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show last night. Announced by Daniel P Carter, who also revealed that Ollie Sykes has married Hannah Snowdon, ‘Happy Song’ is now available to stream online.
Bring Me The Horizon recently upset Singaporean punk outfit The Caulfield Cult, following similarities between the band’s logo and Bring Me’s teaser campaign.
“We treat this as our intellectual property,” Nick Prasat Kumar of The Caultfield Cult said of the umbrella design in a statement to Unite Asia. “We’ve been using this logo for almost everything that represents our band, especially on our merchandise, since day 1 of the band back in 2011 and we obviously have an emotional connection to it.”
Bring Me The Horizon will be playing Reading and Leeds Festival in August, acting as main support to Metallica on the Main Stage.
