Capdown have signed to Fierce Panda. The band will release a download only single, ‘Home Is Where The Start Is’, next Wednesday, before a ‘real’ single ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ in November and album ‘Wind Up Toys’ due out early in 2007. As previously revealed on PT, the band head out on a Kerrang! Most Wanted tour in November. Frontman Jake revealed: “This record has been a long time coming but now we have it all done and dusted we are even more confident that it has been worth the wait. Capdown has always been a band supported by fans of music rather than media hype and we wanted to start the promotion for this record by giving away a great track to all those people who visit our websites, pack out our shows and have given us an amazing time over the last few years. The track ‘Home Is Where The Start Is’ has already become a live favourite for us and all those people that have seen us over the summer and is a great taster of what is to come – hope you all enjoy it.”
