As November arrives the internet is immediate flush with festival announcements. The most recent confirms Avenged Sevenfold as this year’s Friday night headliners at the mammoth rock gathering that is Download. Rob Zombie have also been confirmed as the main support on the same day.
Despite various appearances at the festival, 2014 will mark the first time Avenged Sevenfold headline any UK festival. It follows the release of ‘Hail To The King’ – the band’s 6th record and the first to top the official UK album chart.
Taking place from the 13th to the 15th June 2014, Download Festival will be bringing together a wealth of veterans and newcomers alike over a collection of stages dedicated to all things alternative.
